CBMF to Receive Grant from NEA


"We are very proud to have received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and being recognized as an institution furthering the arts through our performances and strong educational outreach programs," Alexander Scheirle, Festival Director.

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Senior Deputy Chairman Joan Shigekawa has announced that Crested Butte Music Festival is one of 150 not-for-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Challenge America Fast-Track grant. CBMF is recommended for a $10,000 grant to support Gypsy Jazz in Paradise, a mini festival that features concerts and workshops on Aug. 8 – 10 and is part of the larger six-week music extravaganza.
